The evening of Thursday September 18, our candidate for the State Assembly Lucretia Regina-Potter, spoke at a forum hosted by St. Francis College and the Brooklyn Young Republican Club and attended by a panel of Republican candidates from throughout Brooklyn. Lucretia was truly a shining star in the group and offered hope for change, especially in our own 49th Assembly district where we need responsible representation. Here’s what the “Brooklyn Daily Eagle” said about Lucretia’s address to the crowd that evening:

“Lucretia Regina-Potter, challenging incumbent Assemblyman Peter Abbate, who represents Bensonhurst and Dyker Heights, attacked him for not helping the “dying businesses” in the 49th AD. She charged that Abbate secured “$4 million in earmarks in legislation, one million of which went to the NYU School of Dentistry and another million to Columbia University, both in Manhattan. Do we see Columbia University on 20th Avenue in Bensonhurst and NYU on 86th Street?””
