Petition Breakfast

The Fiorello LaGuardia Republican Organization recently hosted a breakfast for members of the club that collected a large number of petition signatures. The organization set an all-time record, collecting the highest number of Republican signatures ever in the 49th Assembly District. Certificates of Appreciation were distributed by the leadership of the LaGuardia Republican Organization.  Lucretia Regina-Potter, Republican District Leader of the 49th AD, and the Republican candidate for the NY State Assembly, and Michael Grimm, the Republican candidate for  US Congress were present to congratulate and thank those members that achieved this great accomplishment. The large crowd attending the function had a good time, and everyone showed much enthusiasm and support for their candidates.

Woman of the Year Award Ceremony-Cantamare 2010

Lucretia Regina-Potter, Republican District Leader and Assembly Candidate of the 49th Assembly District, was recently honored as “Woman of the Year” by the Italian organization, Festival of Song-Cantamare 2010, sponsored by ICN Italian radio, at the luxurious Grand Prospect Hall in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The successful event, skillfully organized and coordinated by popular community activist and ICN Italian radio announcer Silvana Romania, was attended by over 600 people. The evening’s entertainment included a large group of highly talented singers competing in a music festival presented by Joseph Cirnigliaro, also of ICN Italian radio. The honorees also received plaques from the Cantamare 2010 organization as well as Certificates of Appreciation issued by the National Federation of Italian-American Societies Inc., presented by its President, Arnaldo A. Ferraro.
